Job Description
A. BROAD SCOPE: Overall management of the resources of Vietnam market to develop new businessopportunities for assigned sales territory and market & achieve set KPI targets.
B. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Sales Planning & Management• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned to the marketing strategies and plans• Formulate and implement local business development initiatives in consultation with Productmanagement /marketing departments. These might include the need to make joint customer visits and asynchronized key account relationship management approach.• Direct and coach the sales staff in systematic collection, collation and analysis of market intelligenceand progress of sales plans implementation,• Work with technical application team to assist customers with technical and quality issues• Monitor and manage performance of sales staff and adjust sales programs in response to marketdevelopments.• Manage all administrative, legal, logistics and facilities issues related to effective running of the SalesOffices, in liaison with the local Finance & Administration departments.• Other duties as assigned.
Sales & Business Development• Manage Key Accounts for the location (together with sales personnel).• Have direct sales responsibility for selected or delegated product groups where needed.• Responsible for marketing and new business development in Vietnam for the retail of Furniture Sector.• Plan and achieve systematic acquisition of new clients/channels to grow the business.• Collaborate with production management departments to explore and prospect new businessdevelopment opportunities covered by the sales office.• Manage and coach staff through the process of identification, qualification, bidding, closing anddelivering of large projects.
Controlling & Communication• Manage approved Credit Management, Purchasing, Invoicing, Inventory Management and other relatedbusiness processes and policies.• Ensure optimal cash flow management for the Sales Office through effective debt collection andgranting of credit terms.• Responsible for implementing appropriate COMPANY policies for stock control/flow and inventorymanagement.
Job Requirements
Education• Relevant education in marketing or business, preferably degree qualified and with a strong technicalbackground in engineering or the respective product group the incumbent is responsible.Experience• At least 5-year experience in sales leadership and commercial management in a mid to large size firm,preferred with an industrial MNC.• At least 10 years of prior sales or marketing experience, preferably in a similar industry.• Good knowledge and network of contacts for the relevant products covered.Skills• Strong planning, analytical and presentation skills to formulate sales/ business proposals.• Good project management skills and drive to implement approved strategies and plans.• Excellent customer interface and interpersonal skills to manage key client accounts.• Strong team building and influencing skills.
