Job Description
- Plan, develop, test, deploy, and monitor the company’s cloud platform
- Take the ownership of the project, monitor / track the progress of the prioritized topics, serve requests across other departments
- Design and oversee the implementation of a range of different software subsystems / web services
- Monitor and measure changes to subsystems / services to identify problems and possible improvements
- Definition of standards and guidelines for implementation team to ensure architectural design patterns and principles are adhered to
- Ensure well documented subsystem, services and API descriptions
- Ensure test and health monitoring is an intrinsic part of any design to ensure visibility of problems and aid in fast detection and diagnostics of issues
- Ensure well thought out APIs that scale and perform well over a distributed service architecture
- Adept at working in a dynamic, fast paced, team environment with the ability to manage multiple time constrained projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 6+ years of software development experience, +2 years experience as project lead
- Strong knowledge of software and application design / architecture
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good skills in data structure & algorithm
- Expert level technical ability and understanding of multiple technology stacks, particular in .NET and MS technology
- Good understanding and experience in cloud services, design patterns, automation, scripting, database technologies, large volume data processing, web server & web based technologies, RESTful web services
- Experience in developing and maintaining cloud based solutions in AWS or Azure is a plus
- Familiarity working with or implementing Elasticsearch is a plus
- Good presentation and communication skills in English
